Michael Contreras

Michael Perez Contreras, 58, a resident of Fulton, TX. died Sunday, July 5th.  He was born September 28, 1961 in Beeville, TX.  He was the son of the late Antonio and Dora Perez Contreras.  He is preceded in death by his brother Pablo Perez Contreras of Fulton and his sister Elva Contreras Graveline (Michael) of North Stonington, CT.

Survivors include his loving wife, Martha Poole and children: Nicole Simmons (Willie), Michael Contreras (Samantha), Wendi Contreras-Calles (Jose), George-Ann Contreras (Josh) all of Rockport-Fulton.  Three brothers: Victor Contreras, Rene Contreras (Hope) from Fulton and Lupe Contreras of Grand Prairie, TX; and one sister, Inasia Contreras James of Fulton.  His grandchildren Keanna, Keshawn, Kavien, Haley, Zoey, Duke, Elijah, Jax, Kendrick, Xavier, and soon to be grandson Julian.

Those that knew him can attest to his love for his family, his ability to talk to anyone, and his unique sense of humor.  Michael always had a way of getting people to speak their minds and share their opinions, whether good or bad.  He was proud of his grandchildren and boasted about them constantly.

A private family service will be held.
