Meriel Anne Esterling

Meriel Anne Esterling, 86, went to be with the Lord on January 08, 2019 in Corpus Christi, TX. She was born on October 27, 1932 in England to Jack and Elsie Austin.

Meriel met and married Richard Esterling in Tripoli, Libya. She was a registered Nurse working there and Richard was working for ARCO Oil & Gas Company. During their marriage, their family lived in England, Indonesia and various places in the United States. Port Aransas became their home when Richard retired.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Elsie Austin; her husband, Richard Esterling and her son, Robert Esterling.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Mark Esterling; brother-in-law, Roger (Sandra) Esterling; two nieces, Robin Larkin and Karen Young.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Church in Port Aransas, TX on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
