Melba Gonzales

Melba Lee Nutto Gonzales, 76, of Ingleside, Tx went to be with her Heavenly Father on July 15,2017. Melba was born on May 4, 1941 to Robert and Lucia Donahue in Freer, Tx. Melba is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Robert, Richard, and Rudy Donahue. She is survived by her two daughters Edi Lee Bishop ( Lathe) and Patricia (Patti) Nutto and nine grandchildren; Elizabeth Donahue Fairchild, Robert Anderson, Sophia Toledo, Brook Bishop, Grant Bishop, Franceska Toledo, Giana Ramirez, Patrick Ramirez, and Viviana Ramirez and three great-grandchildren Noah Manzano, Alyssa Manzano, and Jackson Fairchild. Melba was a loving mother, grandmother, and dear friend to so many. She loved to play cards , and Bingo with her friends. Her one true passion was the love she had for our Lord Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary. Melba was a devout Catholic and was in charge of the Adoration Chapel at her parish. She made sure everyone would show up for their allotted time so that God would never be left alone. She was a blessed person and though not with us will always remain in our hearts and memories. A rosary will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Ingleside, Tx with a mass to follow immediately after.
