Megan Grupe

Megan Leighann Reagan (Grupe) of Georgetown, TX, passed away in her hometown of Rockport, TX on July 7, 2024, at the age of 33. Megan was born June 29, 1991, in Rockport, TX to Shawna Grupe and Adam Rios.

Megan was a Nationally Certified Emergency Medical Technician. She worked as a Medic for Allegiance Mobile Health and Kiewit Offshore Services. For the past 2 years she has been employed by Dell Technologies in technical sales where she has won numerous awards for her knowledge and expertise. Megan was also a published poet. She has always been an amazing artist, working in charcoal, acrylics, watercolor, and oil pastel. 

Megan's dream, her entire life was to be a mother. That dream was realized in 2011, in her baby, Bella. She loves her baby girl more than anything and delighted in showing off pictures and spending time with Bella. 

Megan is survived by her daughter Bella Darlynn Rife, her parents Shawna Grupe and Adam Rios, her brother Mikeal Rios, her Maternal Grandmother Cathy Farmer, her Paternal Grandfather Amado Rios, her aunts, Shea (Casey) Todd of Rockport, TX, Jennifer (Ray) Lockett of Fall Branch, TN, Michelle (Ricky) Martinez of San Antonio, TX. Megan is also survived by numerous cousins and extended family who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her Maternal Grandfather, James Farmer, her Paternal Grandmother, Sylvia Rios, and her uncle, Joseph Farmer.

Services will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. 

In lieu of flowers or plants, please make a donation to the Mental Health Charity of your choice. Megan was a strong proponent of mental health support, and it needs to be more easily available.
