MARY ANN SWARTZ

Mary Ann passed away peacefully at home in Rockport Tx on Monday, July 29, 2019. She was born July 15, 1938, in McSherrystown Pa, graduated from Delone Catholic School in 1956 retired from the State of Pennsylvania in 1982 and worked in the Harrisburg area until moving to the Rockport area in 1992. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph, and Rose Sanders; her son Christopher Clark; her husband of 28 years, Stanley Swartz and her sister, Angela Isgett of Ohio. She is survived by her much loved companion of 9 years, Bob Giese of Rockport; her beloved granddaughter Corinne (Matt) Stevenson, her great-grandchildren Connor and Bailey of Lititz PA; her loved brother Benedict (Jackie) Sanders of Los Lunas NM, stepson Brett Swartz(Nancy), stepson Robert Swartz (Janice ) of The Villages, FL;, brother Fred Sanders of Hershey Pa, sister Theresa Sanders of Ohio and grandson Christopher Clark of St Petersburg Fl as well as many nieces and nephews and other loved ones.

Mary Ann loved living in Rockport. She volunteered at her church( FUMC), local nursing homes, tutored kids at middle school and socialized at the Seniors Social Club where she met Bob, the love of her life. She was the sweetest and kindest woman you could ever meet. She loved with her whole heart and had many friends. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, travel (especially casinos) and, spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by many. They broke the mold when she was made.
