Mary Elizabeth Schwerdtfeger (Webb), 86, formerly of Rockport, Texas passed away peacefully in her home on October 28, 2020, in Rockport, Texas. Mary was born on June 21, 1934, to Raymond and Lela Webb of Murphysboro, Illinois.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lela Webb, and her sister Sharon Tripp. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Jerry Schwerdtfeger, 3 daughters: Jama (Ismael) Alfaro, Vicky (Mingo) Duran, and Cindy (George) Bonker. Also left to cherish her memories are her grandchildren: James (Whitney) Alfaro, Louis (Jackie) Williams, Shannon Duran, Vanessa (Simon) Dulock, David Williams, and Brenda Duran. Great Grandchildren: Sheldon Lee, Benjamin Dulock, Hunter Alfaro, Olivia Dulock, Patton Alfaro, and Ethan Williams.
Mary and Jerry were married in July of 1978 and were inseparable ever since. They would pack up their travel trailer and travel all over the United States and all over the world. Mary enjoyed baking homemade chocolate chip cookies for anyone and everyone she ever met. Mary was an avid reader of all types of books but especially enjoyed books written by Danielle Steele.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 30 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, October 31 at Rockport Cemetery on Hillcrest addition at 10:00 am.
