Martin Ancira

Martin J Ancira went to be with his Lord on July 9, 2020, after a long fought illness. He was born on June 3rd, 1947 in Ingleside, TX. He was 73 years old. Martin is preceded in death by his parents Martin and Juanita Ancira, two sister Petra Flores and Cindy Gomez all from Aransas Pass, TX. Martin was a loving husband to his wife Angie of 51 years. He was a devoted father to three sons, Marty Ancira, Craig (Holly) Ancira from Corpus Christi, TX, and Tommy Ancira from Rockport, TX. Martin cherished being the grandfather to five grandsons, Tristan Ancira, Darian Ancira, Tyler Ancira, Jake Ancira and Nathan Ancira all from Corpus Christi, TX. He is survived by sisters Dolly Davila, Janie Longoria and a brother Gilbert Ancira. Martin had a large extended family and many friends who loved him dearly. He worked at Rockport Coastal Care as a CNA Supervisor for 25 years. All that knew him were touched by his kindness and warm heart. Martin will be greatly missed.

Memorial service will be held from 5:00~8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 19 and Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas.

Memorial Mass to be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 20 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockport, Texas.
