Marian Hunsucker

Marian Hunsucker was called home on Monday, March 30, 2020. She finally got her long awaited reunion with her husband and son. She passed peacefully, at home, with her loved ones by her side. She was 68 years old.

Marian was born February 2, 1952, in San Angelo, TX.  to Dan and Anna  Palmer. Marian met and later married the love of her life, Joe Leslie Hunsucker. Together they had two sons, Joseph Daniel Hunsucker and Joshua Allen Hunsucker.

In 2000 Marian purchased and operated the Olde Town Grill in downtown Aransas Pass. Later in life she opened MnJ’s Cafe, serving good old fashion, home cooking, to a crowd of regular guests, family, and friends.

Marian is preceded in death by her mother, Anna Mae; her husband, Joe Hunsucker; and son Joshua Hunsucker.

Marian is survived by her father, Dan Palmer from Ingelside; her brother, Danny Palmer and his family of Victoria, TX.; sister, Debby Donovan and her family of Tennessee; her son, Joseph Daniel Hunsucker(Eric) of Aransas Pass, TX.; her daughters-in-love, Crystal Vest and Misty Young; her grand-children, Bryndon Alan Hunsucker, Robert Michael Rae, Grace Lynn Vest, Darla Jean Rae, Michael Gene Rae Jr.; and her two god-daughters, Kaycee Dale Sigman and Rebecca Leighann Sigman.

Marian danced this life two steps at a time, and she spun through each turn with strength and grace. Her memory will forever dance on in the hearts of her friends and family.
