Maria Moreno

Maria Elida Moreno, 85, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 25, 2018 in Corpus Christi, TX. Mrs. Moreno was born on June 23, 1932 in Aransas Pass, TX, to Lucas Rodriguez and Enriqueta Herrera.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Moya Moreno; her parents, Lucas Rodriguez and Enriqueta Herrera; son, Ernesto Lee Moreno; Daughter, Martina Nancy Moreno Groseclose and her sister Oralia Perez.

Left to cherish her memory are 5 sons and 1 daughter; Armando Lee (Pam) Moreno, Pete (Sylvia) Moreno, Guadalupe David (Lillian) Moreno, Domingo Pablo (Lisa) Moreno, Ricardo (Debbie) Moreno and daughter Palmira Ann Moreno; 3 sisters, Carmen Scott, Inocencia Rodriguez and Beda Flores. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018 and will resume on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, TX. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 on Saturday, March 3, 2018 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church of Aransas Pass, TX.
