Manuela Hernandez

Manuela Bustos Hernandez, 83, a beloved mother and loving wife, was called to her eternal resting place on April 28, 2020. She entered this world on June 17, 1936 to Eusebio and Guadalupe Bustos. She was a lifelong resident of Aransas Pass, Texas. To her friends and family she was known as Mamie or Meme, to her kids she was Mom, to her grandkids and great-grandkids, Grandma. Her greatest pleasures in life was cooking for everyone and gathering around her dinner table eating, talking and laughing. She also enjoyed doing her crosswords puzzle, reading the newspaper, and drinking her coffee every morning.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Julia Jimenez and Lydia Lopez; brother, Larry Bustos; daughter, Patricia Miller and the father of her children Noe D. Hernandez.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Alaniz; children, Deborah Sanchez (Erwin Ullrich) of Seguin, Texas, James Hernandez, Judy (Steve) Ramos, Gina (Kevin) Holsenbeck, Marcie Hernandez (Sam Stone) all of Aransas Pass, Texas and Cynthia (Hank) Mann of Ingleside on the Bay, Texas; stepchildren, Sergio Alaniz, Veronica (Daniel) Arroyo and Becky Alaniz (Steve) of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Domingo (Irene) Bustos, Eusebio (Angelita) Bustos, Isaura (Cipriano) Perez, Sylvia (Joe) Rodriguez, Paul (Sylvia) Bustos, Terry (John) Silvas, Ben Bustos.

29 Grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and host of many cousins, nieces, nephews and circle of close friends.
