Ret. 1st Sergeant Lyle Leon Johnson passed away May 20, 2022 at the age of 92. He was born November 10, 1929 in Canute, Oklahoma to Robert and Helen Harmon Johnson. 1st Sgt Johnson proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War; receiving 3 Purple Hearts, the Bronze Star and many other accommodations and awards.
Lyle retired after 20 plus years and continued as a civil servant at Clover Park School District and then the United States Post Office. In 1984 Lyle transferred to the Dallas Bulk Mail Center.
Daddy had many loves and he rekindled one with Ms. Bobbie Hankins marrying the next year.
After retirement Dad Enjoyed his days reading and relaxing.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Hankins Johnson and his twin brother, Kyle Leo Johnson.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Ralph Johnson, Jim Johnson (Terri), Ramona Hope Figueroa (Jonas), Regina Stuart (Ed), Danny Hankins (Ellen); brother, Keith Johnson, sister, Joy McLoud; eight grandchildren, Aja Nimmich, Rachelle Ivanov, Cory Johnson, Kristen Howard, Jason Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Chad Kendrick, Mary Caitlin Duncan; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
