Luzoria Duzich

Luzorija Crjlenko Duzich, 84, of Aransas Pass, Texas, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at her home in Galveston, Texas. She was born September 02, 1933, in Veli Rat, Croatia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Crjlenko.

Luzorija immigrated to the United States along with her eldest and youngest sons in 1959 and joined her husband Ante Duzich, and two (2) sons Rodney and John Duzich in Aransas Pass, Texas. Luzorija was an avid supporter of her husband in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico commercial shrimp fishery, an avid gardener, and a full time loving mother to her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Ante Duzich of Galveston, Texas; four children, Marion B. Duzich of Galveston, John Duzich of Aransas Pass, Nada M. (Duzich) Acalin of Peachtree City Georgia, and Danny Duzich of Houston, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a sister, Marija Ilic of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Krsto Crjlenko, Ignac Crjlenko, Nikola Crjlenko, Sime Crjlenko; her sister, Slavka Janjic; and her loving son Rodney Duzich.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 from 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00p.m. in the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass.

Funeral Mass` will be celebrated Tuesday, May 01, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Aransas Pass, Texas. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
