Lupe Silva

Lupe T. Silva, 96 of Gregory, Texas passed away on September 14, 2020. She was born August 22, 1924 in Royse City, Texas to Faustino and Celedonia Cervantes Torres. "Pita" was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, she loved to sew, crochet and play guitar.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Desiderio Silva; daughter, Emilia Barrera and her brother, Trinidad Torres.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her three daughters, Janie Ortiz of Gregory, Hope Milliken (Christopher) of Corpus Christi, Virginia Martinez of Taft; brother, Alfonso Reyes; 11 grandchildren; several great- grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2020 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass. Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Andrew Hejdak at 10:00a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Gregory. Interment will follow at Gregory Cemetery.
