Lucia R. Moreno

Lucia R. Moreno moved into her mansion in heaven on November 21, 2018. She passed away at her residence in Gregory, Texas in the presence of her loving family. She had just completed her 80th birthday when the Lord took her home.
She was born on November 9, 1938 to the late Anastacio Rangel and Sofia Rosales. She married the late Delfino H. Moreno Sr. of Gregory, Texas, on June 5, 1970.

She was a dedicated Christian who believed in the spirit, truth and teachings of Jesus Christ our savior. As a homemaker, she invested time in the care and love of her family. She also contributed her heart as a caretaker for individuals in need and placed a great deal of her time in devotion to prayer.

Mrs. Moreno is preceded in death by her children: Valentin Jalomo, Norita Moreno and Ramiro Moreno.
She is survived by her children; Aurora Alaniz (Ernest), Delfino G. Moreno (Yolanda), Anastacio Garza, Crockett Moreno (Mary Jane), Reynaldo Banda, Mario Moreno (Delmira), Delia Newby (John), Nilda Martinez (Martin), Delfino R. Moreno (Gloria), Janie Trevino (Leo), Jason Moreno and Angelica Vasquez (Leandro).

She is also survived by 45 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to the amazing healthcare workers at Del Cielo who devoted valuable time in the care of Mrs. Moreno.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. A Chapel Service will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. also at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Funeral procession will follow with a Christian burial at Gregory Cemetery, in Gregory, TX.
Pallbearers will be Sergio Moreno, Randy Rocha, Adrian Moreno, Raul Salinas Jr., Jonathan Salinas, Steve Garza, Joshua Salinas, Jerry Armendarez, Abraham Moreno, and Marcos Hernandez. Honorary pallbearers will be Anastacio F. Garza and Joel Hernandez Jr.
