With heavy hearts, we regretfully announce the peaceful passing of Lisa Ramona Torres (51) of Aransas Pass, Texas on July 26, 2020 at her home with her loving husband, Telesforo Torres III, by her side.
Lisa Ramona Torres was born December 8, 1968 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Alvaro Gilberto “el Bandito” Medina and Laura Alaniz both residents of Aransas Pass, Texas.
She was swept off her feet by Telesforo Torres III and on January 7, 1983 they were married. She was a devoted wife and a caring mother of four, now adult, children which brought her the most-welcomed opportunity of becoming a Grandmother and a Great-Grandmother!
She was quite the entertainer! A quick visit would blossom into enjoying music, reminiscing on youthful times, laughing, dancing and burning the midnight oil! She enjoyed helping others relax and appreciate the finer things in life! She sincerely knew how to make you feel at home and that you were important to her! She’d fight for you and alongside you! She was truly a loving person!
She is preceded in death by her father Alvaro Gilberto “ el Bandito” Medina.
Most importantly she leaves behind her family: her husband of 37 years Telesforo Torres III and their four children: Telesforo (Maria) Torres IV of North Texas, Neomi (Rodney) Helms, Joseph Torres, and Stephanie (Eddie) Esquivel from Aransas Pass, Texas. They blessed her with six Grandchildren: Nathaniel Morris, Aaliha Morris, Jonah Morris, Richard Nino, Ava LaFlor Esquivel, and Telesforo Torres V; in addition, a first new Great-Grandchild: Miliani Aaliyah Gonzales.
Survived by her Grandmother Maria Medina of Aransas Pass, Texas, her mother Laura Alaniz of Corpus Christi, Texas and her four siblings: Alvaro Gilberto Medina III of Aransas Pass, Texas, Piporro (Micaela) Medina of Corpus Christi, Texas, Marsha (Jorge) Peña of Dallas, Texas and Martin Medina of Corpus Christi, Texas. She has many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifetime friends that will feel her absence as well.
We would like to offer our most sincere appreciation to all that have offered their condolences to the family.
