Lisa Meiners

Lisa Robin Meiners, 63, died September 2, 2021 in her home in Rockport, Texas. Lisa was born August 11, 1958 in Madison, Wisconsin to Charles and Shirley Ridge. Lisa was loved by all that met her. She was an animal lover and spent her final days tending to her beloved stray cats in her community. Lisa enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Lisa was a proud grandmother to Lauren Desjardin, Megan Kline (Tyler), RyAnne Carroll, Gibson Carroll and Cadence Carroll. Lisa grew up in Schertz, Texas with her siblings, Ronald Ridge (Elaine), Bryce Ridge (Michelle), Connie Gembler (J.R.), and Jeff Ridge (Casandra). She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Shirley Ridge and her brother, Ronald Ridge.

Lisa is survived by her husband of 30 years, Michael Meiners, her daughter, Christina Desjardin (David) and her son, Dylan Carroll (Ashley). In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to local animal shelters in Lisa’s name.
