Linda S. Mastropole



Linda S. Mastropole, 78, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018 in Corpus Christi, TX surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born on December 28, 1939 in Corpus Christi, TX, and was a lifelong Port Aransas resident.

She was preceded in death by her father Captain Anton Thomas "Sonny" Mathews; mother Julia Dea Mathews; and brother Constable DeeWayne Mathews.

Linda is survived by her two sons Todd Mastropole, and Jay(Lori) Guillory; one daughter DeaAntonette "Sissy" Gary; one brother Tony(Irene) Mathews; one sister Billie Jo Harvey; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Linda was an accomplished bowler and a fabulous dancer. She hunted, fished, and was well known for being outspoken. She was devoted to her many years of work on the waterfront and cherished her friendships with numerous island fishermen and clients. She loved her family dearly and always said she had more fun in life than anyone she ever knew.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, TX.

A graveside service and final blessing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Royal Palm Cemetery in Port Aransas, TX.
