Lillie Marie Dawson, age 85, passed away on July 20, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on April 2, 1933 in Goose Creek, Texas to the late Mack C. Rhoden and Hester Williams.

Lillie was a member of the Eastern Star in Ingleside and served actively for many years at City Hall in Ingleside on the Bay.
Lillie was a hairdresser in her younger years and after her husband's passing she took over the real estate business and continued raising her grandchildren. Lillie always had kind words for anybody and no mouth stayed unfed. With her genuine heart to give she was an inspiration to many and touched hearts along the way. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Rodney F. Dawson.

She is survived by her son, Jesse Mack Dawson of Ingleside, Texas; grandchildren, Jesse Franklin Dawson, Rodney Eric Dawson, and David Ray Dawson all of Ingleside, Texas; additional family members, Marita and Nathaniel Matlock and their children, and Nyckalus and Tarryn Matlock and their children.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 9:00 am until service time of 10:00 am at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas.

Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at the Sand Branch Cemetery in Kyote, Texas.

Sand Branch Cemetery is located in Atascosa County near the town of Kyote. It can be
reached by taking Farm to Market route 2504 North from Kyote toward Somerset. It is located
approximately 4 miles from Kyote. The cemetery is located on the left side of the road adjacent
to the Sand Branch Church.]
