Leroy Grumbles

Leroy Grumbles passed away January 11, 2017. He was 67 years old. He was born July 30, 1949 in Devine, Texas to Royal Van and Mary Lee Grumbles.

He served as a peace officer in Port Aransas and Aransas Pass, Texas and retired after 35 years as a Captain.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jeanie; brother, Van Lee; daughter, Diana.

He is survived by his son, Scott Grumbles; daughters, Cheryl Sharits (David), Tamie Martin (Jeff), Charlcie Ackarie (Peter), and Sarah Satterfield (Troy); brothers, Curtis Grumbles, and Bobby Grumbles; sisters, Towanda Whitton, Jeanette Leister, and Teressa Brightwell; fourteen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Cross Roads Church in Aransas Pass, Texas. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery in Aransas Pass, Texas.
