Leita Anne Champion, 57 passed away at her home with her family by her side on June 26, 2018. She was born October 17, 1960 in Mobile, Alabama to Bayard and Doris Negus.

She worked for the Palacios Beacon and was a talented artist that made personalized custom glass engraving, glass and stone carving for art decor and jewelry.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jennifer Negus. She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Champion; sons, Jack Stephen Crisp II and Joseph Michael Hooper; sister, Kathy Negus and granddaughter, Kybri Jade Hooper.

Private family services will be held.
