Lee Mccormack

Lee McCormack, 86, passed away on December 29, 2016 in Rockport, Texas. He was born on September 8, 1930 in Pillipsburg, Kansas to Joseph and Rosa McCormack.

Lee is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Isadora Smith; daughter, Diane Wooten, and step-daughter, Sarah Cude-Long. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Cathy Owen McCormack; daughters, Karen Smith, and Sherry McCormack-Birch; step-sons, Garry, Clark, Carl, Robert, Jeff, Duane, and Frank Cude; step-daughters, Dee Ann Hill, Jennifer Noriega, Amanda Sanders and Mary Cude; forty-four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many dear friends.

Lee was a professional square-dance caller for sixty years. He loved his profession and many people continue to enjoy the activity because of his teachings. He loved his family and was happiest when he was spending time with them. Although he is, gone his memories and life lessons will live in our hearts forever.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Coastal Oaks Church - 2002 FM3036, Rockport, TX 78382. In lieu of flowers please make donations in honor of Lee to Aim Hospice and Humane Society and Adoption Center of Rockport-Fulton.
