He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Allen Reed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Diane Reed; children, David Reed, Catherine Meyer and Cindy Sue Watson; step-children, David Fender, Bruce Fender and William Fender; brother, Johnny Reed; eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
