Larry Kent

Larry Kent, 66, was called to his eternal resting place on July 9, 2020. He entered this world on April 1,1954 in San Antonio, Texas and was raised in Port Aransas, Texas. He is survived by Laurie Kent (Sister), Ronnie Kent (Brother), Rhonda Rios (Sister), Sandy Johnson (Sister) and Sam Keys (son), his pride and joy. Larry was proceeded in death by his parents Jimmie and Harmon Kent, and his stepfather, Dave Davis and stepmother Millie Kent. Larry loved the water and spent most of his life as a boat captain chartering fishing trips in the Gulf of Mexico, Costa Rica, the Bahamas and many other Caribbean locations. He also spent many years guiding duck hunts with Port Bay Hunting Club. Larry loved all kinds of music and loved to dance. He was the life of every party, every family gathering, and all children were drawn to his fun-loving spirit and sense of humor. He was one of a kind and will be deeply missed.
