Kimberly Denise Chapman

Kimberly Denise Chapman passed away June 22, 2023. She was 40 years old. She was born on November 2, 1982 in San Antonio, Texas to Richard and Lisa.

Kim loved to travel with her family and friends. She loved animals, both domestic and exotic. She recently tried to convince Manning to get her a giraffe. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. She volunteered and lead countless organizations and clubs.   Her main focus was always to better the youth of this community.  Her family was her everything, especially her children and her husband. She loved and shared her time with a servant’s heart, always putting other people before herself. She will be greatly missed every day.

She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Jarzombek; grandparents, Sam and Caroline Jarzombek, and Rosie Welch. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Manning B. Chapman; daughter, Noble L. Chapman, son, Blaine S. Chapman; mother, Lisa Combs and step-father David Combs; two sisters, Stacie (Ram) Aguilera and Emily Combs. Father and mother-in-Law, Tim and Debbie Chapman; brother and sister-in-law, Chad and Bridget Chapman; nieces and nephews, Cole and Cannon Chapman, Haley, Bella, and Aniston Aguilera, Levi Davis, Payne and Piers-Louise Fry; great niece, Emory Aguilera.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 1:00pm, funeral services will be at 2:00pm at the First United Methodist Church in Rockport, Texas, with Rev. Melissa Lind conducting the service. A reception will follow at the church hall. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kim’s honor to the Texas State Aquarium.
