Kevin Lee Downard, 54, passed away on May 21, 2018 in Corpus Christi, TX. Kevin was born to Donald E. and Eleanor (Eichholz) Downard on October 10, 1963 in San Antonio, TX.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald E. Downard and his in laws, Walter and Virginia Thomas.
His is survived by his loving wife, Kim Tilley; his children, Austin Downard, Kristina (Nick) Puleo; and his grandchildren, Vivian and Serafina Puleo. He is also survived by his parents, Jim and Elly Cook; his siblings Kathy (Craig) Engleman, Donald M. (Catherine) Downard and Dori Wells (Rick Stone); his step siblings; Rain Tilley (Matt), Rhonda Gross, Jim J. (Sally) Cook, Shawncey Aguirre, Peggy (Mike) Day, Heidi (Mark) Pitt and Jamie Urbanawiz.
Kevin attended all levels of school in Chula Vista, CA. He graduated from Hilltop High School there before the family moved back to Texas. He was ever the jokester, trying to make people laugh and be happy. He couldn't stand to see anyone sad.
Kevin was a hard worker and always ready to help anyone who needed it. He was injured in an electrical accident about 20 years ago which curtailed his activities tremendously. In 2013 Kevin and Kim moved to Rockport, where he felt more comfortable.
