Kenneth Smith

Kenneth Smith, 79, went to be with the Lord on July 17th, 2023. He was born on March 6, 1944, to Earl and Dona Smith in Benton, Arkansas.

Kenneth graduated from Benton Senior High School in 1962. On November 2, 1962, Kenneth married his wife of 60 years, Sandra Mead. He began his career at Reynolds Metals in 1963 and retired in 1995. Kenneth was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Portland, Texas. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, woodworking, cars, and his grandchildren.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; three siblings, Josephine Richmond, Jack Smith, and Jean McPherson.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sandra; daughter, Christi Knight (Boots); son, Jeffery (Crystal); four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister Melba Harris.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Portland, Texas.
