Kaidence Faith Contreras
01/24/2006-09/17/2021
On September 17, 2021, at 10:32 am, Kaidence Faith Contreras was called home to Heaven while in the loving arms of her parents.
Kaidence was a Sophomore at Ingleside High School and was 15 years old. She was excited to be training to play basketball, softball Student Medical Trainer and powerlifting for the Ingleside Mustangs. Kaidence enjoyed spending time with her siblings, family, and pets. She was a big ball of sunshine even though her favorite color was black red and gold. She loved making TikToks videos, drawing, taking pictures, and listening to music. She especially loved making videos with her family as long as her Mom didn’t dance. She was so very talented and artistic, showing off her artwork every chance she had. Kaidence was quick-witted and had a knack for coming up with sarcastic comments on the fly. She always tried to make everyone laugh no matter the mood in the room. She had a million facial expressions for every situation or event. Often showing you her dislike by lifting her eyebrows at you.
Kaidence will be greatly missed and forever remembered as our little lightning bug that could light up even the darkest room.
Kaidence is survived by her parents, Oscar and Shana Trevino, and Joseph Brock, and Christina Contreras. She is also survived by her siblings Salvador “CJ”, Kaylyn, Rico, Mariza (Joey), Alicia (Logan), her aunt Rebecca, grandparents Virginia Alvarado, Gerald, and Karen Contreras, Ernesto and Virginia Treviño and Gma Susan, and numerous aunts, uncles, Tios, Tias, cousins, and pets.
In her last selfless act on Earth Kaidence became an organ donor. Her life’s dream was to help others and through that generous decision, Kaidence’s dream has come true. Those that receive her donated organs will be forever impacted by their improved quality of life, made possible through these selfless gifts. Through these recipients, Kaidence will live on for many years to come.
