Juanita Garza Garcia, aged 78, died on December 8, 2018, at Vista Del Mar nursing home after a long illness. Juanita was born March 28, 1940, in Benavides, Texas to parents, lsidoro and Manuela Garza Sr.
Juanita was an Ingleside, Texas resident for over 40 years and worked for the San Patricio County Health Department-WIC for over 20 years.
She was married to Jose Ovidio Garcia, Jr. for 24 years. Juanita thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending every Sunday watching NASCAR cheering on her favorite driver. Juanita touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity.
She is preceded in death by her parents, lsidoro Garza, Sr. and Manuela Garza; brothers, Isaac Garza and Jesus Garza; granddaughter, Sabrina Meenaghan.
Juanita will be forever remembered by her devoted children Joey Garcia (Leslie), Rosie Meenaghan
(John), her grandchildren, Samantha Mize (Ethan) and Veronica Garcia, devoted brothers; lsidoro Garza,
Jr (Cristela), and Jose Ernesto Garza; loving sisters, Maria A. Oliveira, and Navorita "Nora" Salinas.
In addition, she will be missed by her devoted brothers in law; Carlos Garcia (Priscilla), Manuel Garcia
(Corina), and Rene Garcia (Aricelia); loving sister in law, Juanita I. Garcia and many beloved nieces and
nephews.
Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2018, followed with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018, at St. Mary Star of the Sea located at 342 S. Rife St. in Aransas Pass.
