Juanita Brown

Juanita M. Billingsley Brown, 84, was called to her eternal resting place on July 13, 2018. She entered this world on June 15, 1934 in Texarkana, TX, born to John Alexander and Myra Hooker Billingsley. She graduated from Ingleside High School. Juanita married Robert T. Brown April 24, 1954 in Aransas Pass, Texas. She worked in the Oil & Gas Industry as a bookkeeper and moved to Portland in 1967 where she was a longtime resident until moving to Gonzales in December of 2016.

She is survived by her son, Larry Jay Brown of College Station, TX; daughter, Patti K. Hopper (Fred) of Gonzales, TX; grandchildren, Natalie L Rogers (Ryan) of Possum Kingdom, TX, Mitchell L. Hopper of Ithaca, NY, Anthony Jacob Brown of College Station, TX; great-grandchild, Lillian Grace Rogers.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
