Juan Manuel Sandoval Sr., of Rockport, Texas passed away on February 28th, 2024. He was born on September 19th, 1938 to Adolfo and Elvira Sandoval in Tienditas, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Adolfo and Elvira Sandoval; brother Hector (Elda) Sandoval; and sisters, Yolanda Alvaraso and Bertha (Bo) Guidry; and former son-in-law, Billy Chandler.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Maria B. Sandoval and their four children: daughter Iris (Mark) Sanchez; son, Juan M. Sandoval , Jr. (Janice); daughters Iracema Sandoval and Irma Chandler, all of Rockport; brothers, David Ruben (Margarita ) Sandoval of Kansas City, KS, and Omar (Connie) Sandoval of San Diego, TX; brother-in-law, Manuel Alvardo, Jr. of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren: John Sandoval, Matthew (San Juana) Sanchez; Katherine Chandler, Lauren Chandler, Vanessa Sandoval and Maya Sanchez; and two great grandchildren: Matias Sanchez and Brooklyn Chandler.
