Juan Cortez, 60, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 29,2018. Mr. Cortez was born on June 21,1958 in San Antonio, Texas, to Crispin Cortez and Elena Flores.


He is preceded in death by his parents, Crispin and Elena Cortez; sister, Sophia Cortez; brother , Jessie Cortez.


Left to cherish his memory is his son, Rodney (Natalie) Cortez; brothers, Chris Cortez,Raymond(Sylvia) Cortez, Roland (Helen) Cortez, and Robert (Juanita) Cortez; two sisters, Vengie (Joe) Jimenez, Orlia (David) Contreras; one grandson, Chris Oakman; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018, with a Rosary being recited by Deacon Art Provencio, at 7:00 p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, TX. All services will conclude after Rosary. Cremation will follow.
