Joyce Lister

Major Joyce Marie Lister, USAFR, Retired, 88 passed away December 6, 2017. She was born November 6, 1929 in Port Aransas, Texas to Harold Percy Lister, Jr. and Janie Mae Bujan Lister. She proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother in law, Shelley F. Woodward.

She is survived by her brother, Harold P. "Skipper" Lister III (Lois); sisters, Anna E. Woodward, Harolene P. Hadden (Thomas); nephews, Tommy Lee Hadden, Harold Scott Lister; nieces, Missy Bingenheimer, Michelle McKoy, Shelley Woodward, Kimberly Broussard, Camille Lister; numerous great nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held from 2:00p.m.-9:00p.m. with family present from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. Rosary recited at 7:00p.m. Friday, December 8, 2017 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home.

Funeral service officiated by Msgr. Mark Chamberlin will be held at 10:00a.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Royal Palm Cemetery, Port Aransas.
