Josephine Barker

JOSEPHINE MARIE BARKER, 74, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in Silsbee, TX. Josephine was born on May 25, 1943 in Refugio, TX to Marie A. Hartmann and Patrick F. Walsh.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth T. Barker Sr. and her parents, as well as two of her siblings, Michael J. Walsh and Kathleen A. Ranly.

Left to cherish her memory include her 5 children, Kenneth T. (Lee Ann) Barker Jr., Bruce A. Barker, Kevin A. (Angela) Barker, Deborah C. (Matthew) LePore and Melanie A. (Ben) Verde. She is also survived by two of her sisters; Theresa M. Johnson of Jasper, TX and Rita Peck of Colorado; her 8 grandchildren, Matt, Wade, Kelley, Craig, Caitlyn, Cassie, Oren, and Maddie; 5 great-grandchildren, Raelyn, Harlan, Hudson, Waylon, and Kourtney.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2018 with family present from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

A celebration of Life will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home of Aransas Pass, TX. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bayside, TX.
