Jose Higinio Torres Jr., 76, went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2019. He was born in Ackerly, TX on January 20, 1942, to parents Higinio and Felicita Torres.
He is preceded in death by parents, Higinio and Felicita Torres; brothers, Facundo, Jose Angel, and Trinidad Torres; sisters, Natalia Trevino and Juanita Torres.

He has left to cherish his memories are his brother, Salome Torres of Rockport, TX; sister, Petra Corpus, of Rockport, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home located in Aransas Pass. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 704 E. Cornwall in Rockport, TX. Burial will be private.
