John D. Stewart


John D. Stewart, 69, went to be with the Lord on December 27, 2018. He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia to parents John and Doris Stewart II on November 4, 1949.

John was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps who proudly served his Country during the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life, Gayle Stewart, in March of 1974. They had two wonderful children and have been members of the Ingleside community for many years. He was a dear friend, a great husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed and loved by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Doris Stewart II.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Gayle Stewart of Ingleside, Texas; son,Timothy John Stewart; daughter,Jamie Dyan Kenney (Justin Bardin);brothers, Mark Butt (Sherry), James Butt (Irene), David Butt (Fern), and Scott Butt(Lilet); sister, Johnet Butt; three grandchildren, Lacey Dyan Kenney, Marcus Eoghan Bardin, and Jaxun Dewitt Stewart.
