John Jacobs

John Michael Jacobs, 69, of Rockport, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 16, 2024.  He was born October 22, 1954 at Corpus Christi  Naval Air Station and was a graduate of Rockport Fulton High School.  He attended Hope Church. 

John was preceded in death by his father, John B. Jacobs; grandson, John M. Jacobs, III “Luan”; and mother-in-law, Margie Bateman Bush.  

John is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Rhonda Bush Jacobs and his beloved mother, Palmira Flores Jacobs; his son, John M. Jacobs, Jr. (Casandra); daughter, Savannah Weinrich (Hunter); the mother of his children, Alvina Sanchez; and step-son, Andrew Samaniego; his sisters, Gracie Garcia (Robert); June Jacobs; and Bonny McKee (David); his grandchildren Caiden, Sage, Jillian, Caslyn, Peyton and special nephew Johnathon.

John is also survived by father-in-law, Bill Bush; sister-in-law, Brenda Aston (Bill); brother-in-law, William Bush (Martha); and many nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.  

John loved working in the yard and raising chickens.  He was a dedicated employee of the Texas Department of Transportation for 48 years.
