John James Carpenter, Jr.

John James Carpenter Jr., 58, was welcomed into The Kingdom of Heaven, cradle into the arms of God, our Father on March 20, 2019. John was born on Sunday, March 12, 1961 in Bridgeport Connecticut and moved to Rockport in the 1970’s where he graduated from RFHS, Class of 1979.

He is proceeded in death by his father, John James Carpenter Sr.

He is survived by his son, John James III who resides in Robinsdale, Minnesota; his mother, Susana Sanchez Carpenter who currently lives in Fulton; three sisters, Susanna Carpenter Bease of Seguin, Anita Carpenter Lagasse of Front Royal, Virginia, Caroyln (CJ) Carpenter Carroll of Rockport, TX; one brother, Daniel Carpenter, of Rockport, TX. Additionally, he has several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

All grandparents predeceased John, Abraham and Katherine Sanchez of Lamar and William and Juliet Carpenter of Connecticut. John has many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  We will all miss his witty conversation and corny jokes. Many said that John never met a stranger and he could carry on a conversation with just about anyone.  He will be missed by his many family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, TX. Located at 2003 W. Wheeler Ave. Aransas Pass, Texas 78336.

Funeral Chapel Ceremony will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, TX.

Christian Burial will follow at Fulton Cemetery in Fulton, TX.
