Joe Robinson

Joe Robinson, 90, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023. He was born May 23, 1933 to Aileen and John Robinson in Colorado, Texas. He was a resident of Punta Gorda, Florida and Houston prior to moving to Rockport twenty years ago.

 

He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Linda Faye Robinson; daughter Donnice (Doug) White of College Station, Texas; son Brian Robinson of Vero Beach, Florida; four grandchildren, Brandon (Adriane) Robinson, Chris (Lauren) White, Lauren (Josh) Belcher, and Matthew Robinson; and two great grandchildren Ayla and Hugo Robinson. Additional survivors include Linda's children, John (Maki) House; Faerlee Knox; and grandchildren Mitchell Knox and Nihanna Vega.

 

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 59 years, Lonnice Robinson.

 

Viewing is between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, 814 E. Main, Rockport. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Rockport Cemetery, Rockport.

 

Honorary  pallbearers are Brandon Robinson, Chris White, Lauren Belcher, Matthew Robinson, Mitchell Knox, and Nihanna Vega.
