Joe "Jerry" Marquez, 76, went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2018. He was born September 18, 1942, to Juan and Manuela Marquez in Aransas Pass, Texas.
Jerry lived in Aransas Pass until he enlisted in the United States, Air Force in 1961 and proudly served his country until 1984. He then worked in Civil Service at Langley AFB for 20 years. Then he returned to Ingleside in 2006 after being gone for almost 50 years.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Juan and Manuela Marquez; sister, Maria Moreno and brother Tomas Marquez.
He is survived by his daughters, Dawn-Marie Anderson and Pamela Stubblefield ; son, Robert Douglass; grandchildren, Korbin- Seiarra, Tailynn Aurora, Shylah-Ann, Soren-Faith and Meagan Ayotte "Beaner", Lura Douglass and Cadell Douglass; sister, Cecilia Benavidez of Newport News, VA.; brothers, Milton Marquez of Aransas Pass TX and Leo Marquez of Corpus Christi, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; a fellow veteran and friend Larry Stearns of Ingleside Tx.
Jerry was an avid lover of animals, and leaves behind his beloved Pets; Peaches, Freckles, and Hurricane.

Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018, with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home located at 2003 W. Wheeler in Aransas Pass.
