Joe Clarkson

JOE S. CLARKSON, 77, of Corpus Christi passed away Monday, November 06, 2017 in Corpus Christi, TX. Mr. Clarkson was born in Corpus Christi, TX, on October 27, 1940 to Frances Gaines and Lloyd Robert Clarkson.

Mr. Clarkson is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Frances Clarkson and his cousin Mrs. Nell Wembish.

He is survived by his daughters; Terri (Ron) Ordner and Tami Clarkson Williams; his sons Trey Clarkson and Toby Clarkson; 3 brothers Billy, Gary and Robert "Bobby" Clarkson; and 6 grandchildren.

Joe was an easy going person, who always had a friendly wave from the front porch to passerbys. He enjoyed fishing with his kids from the pier in their younger years, and sailing from the shore in front of the family bay house in Ingleside. He moved to Las Vegas in 1988, where he worked in several casinos but never could make a living as a professional Keno player. He was loved by all and will be missed tremendously.

Mr. Clarkson's services are private.
