Joanna Marie Sain, 76, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019. She was born March 10, 1942, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Alvin and Ora Mae (nee Dennis) Martin.

Joanna loved helping others so much she became an RN when she was a grandmother and had a long career taking care of the sick and elderly. She ran an Adult Day Care in Fulton for 11 years and loved her clients like her own children.

Joanna was a loving and generous woman who loved God, her family, Tom, and cooking and canning. She was so proud of the canned products that her little kitchen put out and she couldn't wait for Market Days to showcase her skills.

She will be dearly missed by so many people. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Kyle Naro.

She is survived by her four children: Louis (Alma) Naro, Jr., Toni (Bruce) Hedreen, Eddie (Shelly) Naro and Tina (Rick) Banse, and her partner of 10 years Tom Mostella. She also has 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

A viewing will be Wednesday, January 30, 2019, from 4 - 8 p.m. with the funeral service on Thursday, January 31 at 2 p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass Texas. Expressions of sympathy may be made by donations to SamaritansPurse.org/donate.
