Jo Winslow

Jo Lynn Winslow (Sheffield), 61, of Ingleside, Texas went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2017. Jo Lynn was born August 26, 1956 in Colorado City, Texas to Floyd Eugene and Evelyn Sheffield.

Jo Lynn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who instilled in her children the love of generosity and compassion that she lived her life by. Her faith in God and strong bonds with her parents and siblings shaped Jo Lynn into the wonderful mom, grandmother, sister, and friend that she was.

Jo Lynn will forever be remembered for her love of cooking, sewing, and crafting. She was the light of her husband's eye and will be truly missed.

She is preceded in death by her father, Floyd Eugene Sheffield.

Jo Lynn is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, James A. Winslow of Ingleside, Texas; 3 daughters, Leslie Brown (Jeremy), Michele Winslow, and Nikki Winslow; 2 sons, Dustin Pullin (Roxann), and James Winslow II (Christine); mother, Evelyn Sheffield; 8 grandchildren, Keitric (Jameece), Kaleigh, Preston, Anthony, Catherine, Waylon, Aubrey, and Kinsley; 1 great-grandchild, Jayce; 2 sisters, Sandra Brister (Jerry), and Brenda Dossett (James); 2 brothers, Raymond Sheffield, and Floyd Sheffield (Pat); numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom she adored.

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, thoughts, and condolences.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm with the family being present from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10:00 am also at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
