Jo Cory

Jo Ann (Baily) Cory, age 88, of Rockport, Texas passed away, Friday, November 27th, 2019.

Preceded in death by her parents, Foster and Doris (Maytubby) Baily, her husband William (Bill) Cory and her son, Scott.  She is survived by her son, Mark Cory his wife Charlotte, and three grandchildren; Matthew, Sarah and Stephanie.

Jo Ann was a military wife and settled in Rockport Texas after her husbands’ retirement.  Jo Ann stayed active by overseeing their motel business and taking care of her sons.  She enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing Mahjong with her friends.

Jo Ann was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her

The family would like to thank CHRISTUS Spohn and Harbor Hospice for the wonderful care that was provided and The Pavilion’s Assisted Living Center for showing compassionate care.  Jo Ann will be buried at Rockport Cemetery alongside her parents, husband and son.  The family has decided not to hold memorial services at this time.
