Jessica Stroud

Jessica "Jay" Marie Stroud 43 of Rockport, TX passed away peacefully in her home on October 3, 2020. She was born on April 22, 1977 in Taft, TX to Silverio Diaz Jr and Maria Emilia Diaz.

She is survived by her companion David Huston, her two children Alex Fahrenthold of Lemoore, CA and Brandee Stroud of Thrall, TX; one grandson, Preston Shay Fahrenthold; nine sisters, Velma Castillo (Paul), Norma Diaz both of Corpus Christi, TX, Teresa Torres (Reyes) of Rockport, TX, Monica Sepeda (Jesse) of Corpus Christi, TX, Patty Miles (Paul) of Thrall, TX, Christina Johnson (Buck) of Rockport, TX, Melinda Jimenez (Jaime) of Woodville, TX, Melissa Alvarez (Efrain) of Hitchcock TX; one Brother Marcus Diaz of Rockport, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.

Jay enjoyed cooking, fishing and cruising the beach. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and making them smile.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Silverio Diaz Jr and Maria Emilia Diaz; one brother Silverio Diaz lll; late husband's, Shay Brandon Fahrenthold and Claude "CW" Weldon Stroud.

Viewing will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, TX on October 8, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
