J. Vincent Zorn, 79, passed away December 4, 2020. He was born on January 9. 1941 to Casey and Helen Zorn in Jacksonville, Florida. Vince grew up and went to school in Aransas Pass, Tx.

He was preceded in death by his father Casey Zorn, his mother Helen Zorn, his two brothers Bill Zorn and Joe Zorn and one grandson Dennis Noonkester.

Vince is survived by his wife Ginger, his son Joe Zorn of Desert Hot Springs, Ca. his daughter Grace Mullender of Palm Spring Ca., four grandsons and two granddaughters. He also left behind his wife’s children, Tony Sheppard (JoAnn), Catherine Carroll (Tim), Charlotte Campbell (Steve), four grandsons, two granddaughters and four great grandsons.

After high school Vince enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. After his service he had various jobs, eventually becoming an owner/operator trucker.

He was an active Deacon and an Elder of the First Christian Church DOC Aransas Pass. One of the ministries he participated in in was the Weekend Warriors, making ramps for the disabled.

Before and after retirement he was an avid gardener taking great pride in his yard and garden. Vince eventually became a lifetime member of Master Gardeners, where he made many friends.

He always had a great time joking and playing cards with friends, his boisterous voice will be missed by all.

A Memorial Service for family and a few close friends will be held Saturday, December 12th at 11:00 AM at First Christian Church, 337 W. Nelson Ave., Aransas Pass, Tx.

In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations be made to

First Christian Church, P.O. Box 496, Aransas Pass, Tx. 78336 or to a charity of your choice.


Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping with social distancing orders, all necessary restrictions will be observed in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance. Wear face coverings while inside building. Continue to practice social distancing while inside the funeral home chapel. We continue to ask that those at risk or those not feeling well stay home and reach out to the family through our obituary page.
