Jesse Ellis Goodman

Jesse Ellis Goodman of Rockport-Fulton, beloved son-father and friend left us in July of 2021. 

Son of Danny "Ben" and Peggy Goodman, Jesse was born August 13, 1981, in Corpus Christi and spent his childhood in West Texas. 

Jesse's greatest joy was his children: Ava, Danny, Jordan, Alana, and Jonathan "Jonny" Goodman. He took immense pride in their accomplishments and treasured every moment he spent with them. Also in the circle of his children is Sabrina Garcia and Izzy Contreras. He loved them as his own. 

He is dearly missed by his mother, his children, extended family, and countless friends.

Service to his community included leadership in his church. He assisted his pastor with church services and was always one of the first to lend a hand with children's programs and fundraisers. 

Jesse made Rockport-Fulton his home in 2015. He had a successful lawn service business and was known by many. You may also know him by the help he offered you and the community in the aftermath of the hurricane.

Being the son of a coach, his love of sports was no surprise! Football, basketball, and boxing were passions he passed down to his children as well as children in the community.

May his memory be a blessing knowing he made a lasting impact on his family, his friends, his community, and beyond.
