Jerry Mickey

Jerry Mickey, 77 went to be with the Lord on February 6, 2017. He was born September 9, 1939 in Plainview, Texas to Forrest and Maylene Mickey.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jack Mickey.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Betty Mickey of Rockport; two sons, Mike Mickey (Danea) of Rockport and Randy Mickey (Kimberly) of Arlington; sister, Kim Hall (Roger); 5 grandchildren, Christopher Mickey of Austin, Tyler Mickey of Grapevine, Bradley Mickey of Rockport, Luke Humphrey of Arlington, Kayla Buckner (Jared) of Portland; one great granddaughter, Kailyn Buckner; aunts, uncles, nieces and one nephew.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 12noon-8:00p.m. with family present from 5:30p.m.-7:00p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Rockport. Funeral service will begin at 10:00a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Rockport. Burial will be held at 2:00p.m. Friday, February 10, 2017 at Lockney Cemetery in Lockney, Texas.
