Jean Walker Metz, 91, a native of Baton Rouge, LA, entered into the presence of the Lord on April 18, 2024.
She loved Jesus and was a prayer warrior. She will be greatly missed by her children, Karen Goodroe (Tommy), Chris Metz Jr. (Rose) and James Metz (Trish); brother, John Walker, and sisters, Norma Nelson, Bonnie Kay Yarbrough, Peggy Lewis and her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Chris Metz, Sr., parents Henry Houston Walker and Edith Jones Walker, brother Billy (Buddy) Walker and sisters Juanita Emerson, DeLois Hall Miller, JoNell Williams and Sue Trippi.
Visitation will be held April 24, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, TX with the service at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Prairieview Cemetery.
Her family would like to thank the staff of Legend Hospice for their excellent care.
