On Thursday, April 16, our Heavenly Father added a first-class building contractor to his heavenly workforce. James A. Stoltz, 79, passed to his reward after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Just as in life and throughout the struggle his wife of 40 years, Peggy, was by his side.
The second of four children, he was born on December 21 to James A. Stoltz, Sr. and Stella Pearl Stoltz in San Antonio, TX. He grew up in Helotes. His first job was in building homes. Soon he formed his own company which he ran for over 50 years. He was a highly respected builder.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Lester. He is survived by two sisters, Shirley Thompson and Gay Hinebaugh; a daughter, Karen and granddaughter, Dianna; a nephew, Jessie Esterline and a niece, Carol Hughes. He also leaves behind his beloved companion, Klauzzie and many dear friends.
Arrangements will be announced at a later date.
