James Reed

James Allen "Jimbo" Reed, of Flour Bluff, Texas has gone to be with our Lord on April 21, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 18, 1960 in Bay City, Texas to James and Ruby Reed. He proudly served his country in the US Navy. After his military career he worked as an aviation contractor throughout Texas. He was an avid bull rider, an actor that played in many commercials and made appearances in, TV shows and movies, such as Knight Rider 2000, Dallas and Born on the Fourth of July.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Tibbs.

He is survived by his loving wife, together for 17 years, Patricia Reed; his six children, James Dalton Reed, Hailey Savanna Reed, Brandy Rachael Reed, Leila Brooke Reed, Brent Robert Reed and Forrest Allen Reed; sister, Dorothy Bragg; many nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends who will greatly miss him.

The family will have a private service.
